McDonald's — Restaurant in Castle Point

My my my really think this McDonald’s has proved the Mac Donald’s haters right. I buy at least four Big Mac meal per week and double cheese burgers. Majority of times I have to return food as cold but I get the exchange. This particular outlet supplied me with my regular order Big Mac meal and cheeseburger double. As drove out I parked up and to my disgrace the worse meal I’ve ever had in my whole time ever eating Mac Ds and I tell you I’ve had a few belive me. This store has really emphasised and just by giving me what they gave me told me what this organisesayion really is I won’t write I’ll let you use your imagination think and tell yourself. If the manger reads this review and you were the manger at the time 2/2/18 approx 1 o’clock and you were in chardge and letting food like what I forced myself to eat you need to be looked at. I ate the food as I was hungery and to busy to return it. But I assure anyone that this meal has turned me off of Mac dees The wait was terrible the burger was cold the chips were cold the cheese burger was cold the chips which has never ever arrived were soggy ,soggy I tell you something I’ve never experienced I’ve had cold but never soggy my world what a turn out. Took 15 minutes to get a double cheeseburger and a large fanta!! Staff are focusing on delivery orders and app orders and ignoring the orders placed in the restaurant so there's a ton of people just waiting and waiting whereas delivery drivers come in, collect and go. Service from the older members of staff was atrocious, they were so rude that when I complained I had been waiting 15 mins, she got my order and stamped it on the counter in front of me. When I got to the car there was no straw for my drink. Food was nice but the service and the wait spoiled it. If it wasn't the only one on canvey I'd go to a different one. I thought my local in Ballards Rd Dagenham was bad but compared to this restaurant it's brilliant. I ask a local who was waiting with her daughter for food and she said its always like this. Even one of the older women who went to serve someone at the till, as no one else was available, clearly didn't know how to use it properly....

If you’re looking for a place that redefines the concept of fast food into something more like eventually food — congratulations, you’ve found it.

I came in for a simple breakfast and left with an existential crisis. I had enough time waiting for my McMuffin to grow the ingredients myself. The chicken could’ve laid the egg, the cow could’ve milked itself, and I still would’ve had time to ponder life’s deepest questions while standing at the counter like a lost soul.

This McDonald’s is where time goes to die. Every visit feels like you’re trapped in a weird time loop where staff move in slow motion, orders vanish into the void, and you’re left wondering if Ronald McDonald himself is back there cooking solo on a George Foreman grill.

They’ve officially taken the fast out of fast food. At this point, I think the McFlurry machine is quicker at breaking down than the kitchen is at making hash browns.
