Lovely afternoon tea with my mum. There was a mixture of sandwiches and cakes, alongside a salad with coleslaw and a bowl of crisps. The sandwiches and cakes were large and we took the rest home but they tasted lovely! I would recommend it as it's good value for money and tastes great. You do have to book in advance but we didn't know this as the afternoon tea was a gift. The staff did accommodate us though and we appreciate that.

A very welcome break on a very warm day. We were cycling from Market Harborough to Derby on one of the hottest days of the year. We cyclists have learnt that where's there's a garden centre, there's a tea room. Sure enough, a very nice tea room with a very warm welcome, despite being told we were obviously raving mad. A nice coffee and tasty sausage roll soon put some energy back into us and off we went. Recommended.

Delighted to see that there was gluten free options. Even though the server wasn’t too sure, there was somebody else who understood and carefully guided them. I hate to see brownies as a choice, but I couldn’t resist their cappuccino version, it was so scrummy, my other half stole half of it from me! The brie and red onion gluten free toastie was delicious! I’ll be visiting again 👍🏼

A very nice place to eat and serves good generous and fresh food/drinks . The woman serving is very polite . Only thing is I don't agree with interviewing people in front of random customers, job interviews are not the nicest thing to go through as it is, and I certainly wouldn't want to be talking about my personal details in front of anyone. Also it did not make you look too good as found it is minimum wage, short hours and so on . Should be private between interviewer and interviewee

I am pretty annoyed the fact I was made to feel I was in the wrong by making a true statement that interviewing in public was wrong of me. If she was "deeply upset" then that proves you were in the wrong , not me or herself. As a regular customer in the past feel now I will not return. Must be somewhere else to interview, or at worst close the place for just half an hour . I dropped a star for your...

We had the most underwhelming and expensive cup of coffee here today. Just how can this company justify £4.30 for a cup of instant coffee, we did comment to the waitress about the quality and price and she was a little confused as she thought the price was wrong. I told her we had paid £8.60 for two cups of coffee and she went back to check, sure enough the price was correct and the bill came to £8.60. A little embarrassed the waitress offered to make the coffee again but I pointed out that merely making the same drink again would not solve he problem. The problem was an extremely high price for a very poor product. We felt the need to leave without consuming any of the beverages and put the whole thing down to a very expensive...

First time visit, booked afternoon tea and was rewarded with a real treat. If your preference is dainty, this is not for you. Afternoon tea at Daisy's is wholesome, good honest food that the average person will be taking home a doggy bag (box). All cakes are homemade, the ample sandwhich fingers are filling that are accompanied by a salad bowl with the addition of a real tasty homemade coleslaw. The food menu is certainly cafe orientated, food options are breakfasts, hot and cold sandwiches, paninis etc etc. Daisy's tea room is a popular place within the Brookleas Nursery, this is inviting enough to walk around a real nursery and not the likes of an overpriced garden centre. We are looking forward to a return...
