Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Charnwood

Very poor indeed. Waited 5 minutes to be served at the counter, I was the only one in the queue. The server didn't say a word to me. Had to take my phone to manually key in my More card because they don't have a barcode scanner. They just grabbed my phone out of my hand, no words said. I got everything labelled for the meal deal yet was charged full price. I've later realised the shelves are mislabeled. The server could've easily noticed this and provided some sort of customer service. The website and signs say 600 More points on a £6 spend. My receipt is £8.67 and I earned zero points. It took nearly 15 minutes to warm up the toastie. Although it was ready after 5 minutes and I could see it sat on the pass. Just under half of the tables were occupied with customers so not particularly busy imo. The toastie was very bland and was delivered by the same person who served me at the till, still not a single word said. Morrisons is my main supermarket and I come here multiple times per week for over a decade. This first trip to the cafe was terrible. I had the ham and cheese toastie, postmix Coke, bag of crisps and a can of Monster...

We often go to the Morrissons Cafe for breakfasts and coffees. Today in the cafe both coffee machines are out of order. The server said rather unsympathetically, you can use the Costa coffee machine in the store. We went to this coffee machine and this is also out of order, it had a "oops something has happened" message on the screen. So we left. I thought the idea of having 2 coffee machines in a busy cafe was to avoid the unlikely situation of them both failing at the same time. Although I should say one of the machines has been out of order for 6 months. Curiously I did once hear a member of staff say to another staff member "we leave one machine turned off to slow the queue down" Whatever the reason no coffee in Morrissons...

Doesn't even deserve 1 star! Went twice in 2 weeks to be told there were no jacket potatoes, ended up leaving with nothing both times. How do you run out of jacket potatoes knowing is lunch time and they are based in a supermarket which sell JACKETS!! So went to today hoping they'd have them! they did! BUT it was literally solid as if it had been thrown in the microwave and taken out after 5 minutes! The side salad looked like it had been prepped a week ago as it was so dry!
