Abit hit & miss, had food delivered to us which is nice food but just luke warm sometimes even cold, every time you ring to chase the order after been given a time there waiting on drivers to distribute the food, told 1 hour 20 mins, took 1 hour 50 mins, previously had to wait longer, id rather the honesty that way I can order earlier or not bother at all, rather than take the money, forgot stuff and get told to mention it in the next order as can’t give a time on the item to be delivered, so abit poor on a mistake that we have to suffer for after paying, restaurant is 5*, delivery and service quite poor, not the first time either now. Probably won’t bother again with them very frustrating & i wouldn’t recommend...

Always a fabulous place to visit, as a couple, with family, or as a group of friends. Ripon and Miah always recognise us and warmly welcome us - they even remember which is our favourite table and what dishes we’ve had lately - such an excellent personal service. The food is always fantastic and friends will comment it’s the best curry they’ve had. The only star I’ve dropped is for atmosphere because it can be a little bright in the evening for a “date night” and if dimmers were added it would be perfect - but that’s just our personal preference. Really enjoyable Indian takeaway from Spice Lounge (I'm assuming formerly Britannia Spice) on Friday evening. Ordered and received helpful recommendations over the phone, friendly welcome on arrival and food ready on time (30mins). The dishes were hot (temperature!) and very very tasty. Only criticism would be the vegetable samosas were a bit bland but have been spoilt by work colleagues bringing home made ones into the office made fresh that morning by their mothers!!
