We have visited Livios today ( one local birthday lady, her spouse and the daughter from London) and we mostly enjoyed it. what could be potentially improved, in our humble opinion is: Please do not make customers sit in the cold " naughty corner" for 30 minutes,it was uncomfortable and we really didnt know what to do. We were encouraged to order the wine from there , but surely if you book the table for 6, you would rather sit at the table? and start nibbling on the olives as soon as you arrive, not 30 mins after... If you choose to place the customers in the pews ( naughty corner) area for 30 mins, at least tell them this is art gallery too! we only realised it at the very end. If we knew, we would have bought a picture, but we we never told . If you only have 2- 3 tables booked, please do not try to squeeze them in the same corner, you surely can spread them out. It was so weird and uncomfortable sitting very close to another couple in an empty restaurant. 4.The food was good, no criticism there at all. when the fillet arrived raw, and was sent back, they cooked it to medium , as requested.Chichen liver starter is very very good. Overall, thank you the team , I enjoyed my birthday meal ( duck) ,but in terms of customer service , there is a room for improvement. In terms of cooking- great, just get the steak right!)) thank you,...

Read moreCan this Gem of a place really be in the town of Shepshed?! You might think I have not been before, with that statement of astonishment. This Italian restaurant continues to amaze me since I last visited. It is a survivor of our past troubles, bouncing back, or should I say, ploughed through to provide an excellent welcome, service and delicious cuisine. An experience not to be missed. Book in advance, and expect it to be lively with large and small groups, as all will be well catered for. Good atmosphere, artwork all around and our group of 5 enjoyed every moment. Thank you to all the...
