Average style franchise for the fast food industry, but with some setbacks. The building is situated in a prominent area, with a car park and a drive thru, but when you access either there always seems to be issues with parking/driving thru. A little extra planning would have solved this. Once inside, the menu is current with the rest of the franchise, but on m any occasions I have found some items missing off the menu or out of stock. When ordering, the staff are pleasant enough, using the scripts they are trained to use, no issue there, means my order is taken well. Although there have been minimal mistakes when taking my order, execution of the order doesn't often meet the standard. Many time I have had things missed, duplicated, or substituted inappropriately, but the staff have corrected it when mentioned. Management seem not to be as present as I would like, particularly during peak times as the staff seem easily overwhelmed once the queue gets busy. On a couple of occasions, I have seen management sitting at a table, eating a meal and chatting who I can assume is a friend or acquaintance while the queue was backed up out of the door. The cleanliness of the restaurant is often par if not sub par, particularly during peak times. It can be off putting having overflowing bins near your table and food. The toilets seem to share the same treatment, many times I have seen the floor covered in toilet paper and (I hope) water from the sink. The food is good, in keeping with the franchises' standard, prices are in line with the chain as well. Very rarely have I had an issue with the food, more the takeaway packaging, which seems to change frequently, dependant on if they have enough stock. If the restaurant was cleaner and the staff were more co-ordinated, with better input from management, I'm sure this eatery would inspire more people to visit. Read moreI ordered food last night on just eat, they missed out something and it wasn’t the first time either, wether I go in person or order online. I called the restaurant and spoke to Alfie and he was excellent with the way he dealt with it. Unfortunately I had to leave my food at home and go straight to the restaurant to collect what was missing. Once I got there Alfie wasn’t available, but the two workers who were there made me wait over 10minutes to get this problem resolved, this had initially made my food gone cold at home. whether it was out of spite I don’t know. I don’t know names but the African descent cook at the time who wears a red bandana underneath his hat needs to go! He cooks and touches food without gloves which is disgusting. He’s the one who constantly messes up our order and when I ask for specific chicken pieces I don’t receive it and I think he does it on purpose. When I got home and opened the sweet chilli dipped bites, it was plain with a little bit of sauce at the bottom. I didn’t approach at the time as I would’ve let my anger get the best of me and I would’ve ended up getting in trouble and Alfie luckily resolved the situation but if this were to happen again I WILL confront! I feel I was a bit over generous with my first review as i had an unusually problem free visit that time. Have since re-visited and realised what an absolute shower of s*#t this place is. Ordered 5 meals at the drive-thru after a 25 minute wait. Only received 3 of them and a polite thank you, goodbye. Always check your order before leaving car park as they are renowned for not giving correct amount of food ordered. Back to window to complain, another 10 minute wait for the rest of food to arrive. Girl walks to car and apologises for the wait and gives me a bag. Check bag, still stuff missing. Back to window. Rest of order getting cold now. This is how this place is run on a day to day basis. Some serious work is needed here to improve every aspect of the business. The food is good but won't be returning. Quicker to drive 12 miles to the next store. Update 03/02/17. Gave it 1 last go.
