Urban Fresh — Restaurant in Chelmsford

We had a superb night my wife and I. Having booked a table to celebrate our wedding anniversary I asked for a few thing. We were seated in a nice corner table and they gave up a supervise complimentary couple of glasses of fizz. The staff and our host were amazing and attentive. The food did not disappoint. We ate well and it was simply delicious and magic. They took real care in the food. It was made with love. Often we eat out and skip desert if the food isn't special. Here it was. It was exceptional. I must say it was possibly one of the best meals I've eaten in many years! Congratulations. We will be back. Thank you for such a memorable experience. x

Update 22.11.24: Not sure if this is under new management but things ain't the same since the review above. Service was very slow. The meals were quite pricey for what they were and desserts very disappointing at the £8.50 price point. I had a fancy Italian named dessert that amounted to 3 lumps of vanilla ice cream and some (minimal) chocolate made from white and milk missing the dark. Cheaper to buy a tub of Ben & Jerry's. We found this restaurant by chance and we are so glad that we did. The food was amazing in terms of flavour, freshness and quality. We had the gucamole and Asian sticky beef to start and then the steak and chicken fajitas for mains and was blown away by the flavour. The chicken was moist and the beef was served pink and juicy. I really enjoyed the restaurant, the vibe, service etc. The food to be honest wasn't bad it was nice but it was also quite bland I found. I had the burrata and it was just lacking something more and the steak skewers which were cooked well but the meat was still a little too tough and it lacked flavour.
