Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Cheltenham

I went for lunch about 1.30pm today we were a group of 3 adults and 3 children aged 3 as kids eat free. But there was nothing to choose from and we had to clean off our own table thats was littered with dirty dishes . It was lunch time and all they offered were fried breakfasts for everyone, and chips.

Not one of us could say something nice about our food. I can't figure out how my friends portion of chips that came out first were hot raw and greasy, mine came out next and were cold and stale? My child had a ham sandwich but the bread tasted on the turn.

I have worked in commercial kitchens for over 8 year and can't understand why if your saying your short staffed so reduced the menu why it's not reduced to simple chicken nuggets and scampi extra just fried food done well. No one wants a fry up in the afternoon on a Monday. And if that is all your offering at least know how to do it well

We went in for Christmas Turkey Dinner at noon on 12 December 2024. After waiting around 25 minutes, the meals arrived. Started eating, but everything was barely even warm. We asked for the meals to be warmed up, and they were returned to us supposedly hot no more than a minute later, but it was hardly any warmer than before. I suspect they were put in the microwave for no more than 30 seconds, certainly no longer. We tried eating a couple of things off the plates, but ended up leaving most of it because it was simply still not warm enough. Two people sitting close to us said their meals were cold as well. We have had problems in the past, meals with chips usually have cold chips. Something needs to be done to make sure all meals...
