On arrival the big seated garden and large kids play area (on the grass) was really busy. We stepped on inside to unfortunately be met with NOs when my friends requests for several beers he asked for @ the bar wasn't stocked !! John Smiths & Carling to name two. He perused the food menu and asked if roasts were still being served ? and opted for the roast beef (£15.99) picture 📸 supplied above. The barmaid didn't tell him he had to get his own cutlery, cos it wasn't brought out with the food & struggled to get his request for mint sauce met! But was supplied with a little pot which came out with the cutlery later. I myself prefer horseradish sauce on my roast beef, but each to their own......I asked him to rate it out of ten for the review and he gave it a 6/10.......There was bingo on inside the pub when we arrived @ 7pm. The barmaid was quite keen to promote this too me, to which I replied, "I've never seen bingo in a pub before ?" Lol. Go there on a Sunday night & you might win enough on the bingo to pay for their overpriced food.................

Fancied going out for Sunday lunch as a treat, booked up at Bure Farm as they were able to take a fairly last minute reservation (phoned at 11:30, for booking at 12:45). On arrival it wasn't overly busy in there, however, from the point of ordering our food to it getting to the table it was just over an hour, which on a Sunday when roasts are the main thing being served is pretty unacceptable to me. Luckily I was too hungry to walk out, which I would have usually done. Food was good - a solid 6/10, roast potato's weren't crispy and one carrot and one parsnip feels vedy stingy! I went for the "Bure Roast" at £17.95 which is a 1/4 rotisserie chicken, beef and pork. It didn't feel like great value to be honest as my partner opted for chicken only at £10.95 and probably had as much as I did. Gravy was thin and watery, again that's personal pref but all in all this felt like a let down. I'll try elsewhere in future, not an awful experience but not great considering with a couple of drinks it was just shy of £50!!!

Went here for my birthday meal. Food was great when it did arrive after waiting a while for it to turn up. No drinks menu was handed out no one came to tell us about our meal at any time in the 3/4 hour when it was likely to be served. It would of been nice if someone had come to ask if our meal was good. I think the condiments should be put on the table straite away we had to ask for them. No one came back to ask did we want another drink. I had a procecco which was only just over half a glass not sure if this was the proper measure. But on saying all this enjoyed my birthday meal in nice surroundings.

Absolutely shocking service by Management that was serving our table- or that they said they are managers as it’s hard to believe they are as the customer service was shocking with rolling eyes and a sassy attitude threatening us to be kicked out with pointing fingers at my members if the family because they were busy and understaffed- this was the worst experience I had ever by unprofessional staff, unqualified to do their job assistant manager that is unable to work under pressure and taking it out on their guests- appalling service that ruined my mothers in law birthday dinner and overall atmosphere to ever return to the Bure Farm in Bicester. Assistant manager complaining about her own staff to us while we were waiting to pay 20min with her not actually acknowledging us there only to badmouth her staff that what it seemed like a 16year old boy that didn’t know what alcoholic drink it was to serve to someone’s table- that should not be allowed. I did not appreciate the servant (that later on disguised herself as the Manager- absolute lie for sure) raising her voice to me and creating a scene by the bar when I only wanted to give my food back as it was not what I ordered as she refused to take it. There is so much more to this story so I request customer service representative or a regional manager to reach out to me to acknowledge this disguisting behaviour

The management need a reality check as the service they provide repels guests that are willing to pay a ridiculous prices as a £20 per plate! Yet no service was provided to expect guest to pay such prices- its appalling to say the least

CONTACT back requested, I will not stop on this review, I will manage to get to the top if I must and I will make this an example to the staff that this behaviour is not acceptable and they need to take a basic course of hospitality training as they shown none of this at our visit. Body language was offensive and unacceptable I will not stand for any of this. You are losing guests because of those two individuals- save...

Amazing 3-Course Lunch with Family 🫂🌞

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Bure Farm Bicester yesterday for a 3-course lunch with my family. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a 🆒 atmosphere that made us feel right at home & at ease 😊🏠

Starters: The meal began with a delicious selection of starters. My calamari was beautifully presented and full of flavor, and my partners halloumi fries were a perfect blend of crispness and taste. 🍤🥗 Each bite was a delightful surprise!

Main Course: For the main course, we were blown away by the quality and presentation. The seabass which was cooked to perfection, and a rich sauce that complemented it perfectly. My partners burger 🍔 was equally impressive, with vibrant flavours and a generous portion. Everyone at the table was delighted! 😋

Desserts: The meal concluded with a fantastic dessert selection. The salted caramel ice cream was heavenly, with just the right amount of sweetness, while the ice cream 🍦 trio was a delicious and satisfying end to our meal too 🍰🍨 The desserts were as beautiful as they were delicious!

The service throughout the meal was impeccable. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making sure that every aspect of our dining experience was perfect 👌 🌟🍽️

Overall, it was a wonderful experience that we’ll cherish. The food was outstanding, the ambiance was lovely, and it was a perfect way to spend quality time with family.

We can’t wait to return and try more of the delicious dishes on the menu! ❤️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Thank you, Bure Farm Bicester for a memorable dining experience.

Highly...

Had to wait at the door for a member of staff to attend the booking in desk. Shown to our table, that had a mish mash of different seats, given our menus and asked if we would like to order drinks. A short while later a waitress asked if we were ready to order to which I replied yes and one other of our part of five asked what the soup of the day was. The waitress said she didn’t know but could find out. On her return she told us the soup was tomato then proceeded to take our orders. I asked for soup, fish bites meal to which she said unfortunately the breaded chicken and fish were not available do to having no bread crumbs or batter???. We all revised our choices with four having soup. When the soup arrived the bowls were very hot but the soup was tepid slightly spoiling the experience. After a lengthy wait our table was cleared an we waited our main course which we all enjoyed. Then another lengthy wait for our sweet course which was enjoyable despite the chocolate melt being overheated so the melting centre did no longer melt. All in all the experience was was spoilt by having too few staff for the number of bookings over the lunch time period as in the main the food was of a good standard despite the full menu it being available. Will I be booking again? I don’t think so as two visits in a month have thrown up the...
