Holme Hall Inn — Restaurant in Chesterfield

We have been to Holme Hall Inn with our kids a few times recently, the first was for a brilliant love music event ‘Russ Fest’ which featured some local musicians & bands, as well as some more popular artists from further afield, it was a fantastic family day out!

We returned today for a Sunday dinner as people at the festival told us how good the roast dinners are here… They were right! A good helping of roast beef with plenty of veg, mash, roasties & Yorkshire’s! It was obvious that everything on our plates was homemade, including the stuffing, no frozen cheats!… My Mrs had a homemade pie, which was packed with meat! She loved it!

The kids really enjoyed the waffles & ice cream, and the bouncy castle too, not in that order though!

Had the most amazing Christmas Fayre meal ever ... so accomodating... my daughter is the fussiest eater ever but gave her exactly what she wanted . food was second to none , everything home cooked, soup was amazing , prawn cocktail best we've seen ever ... pate absolutely beautiful. Excellent Sunday Lunch! The standard of the beef was really good and better than most generic pub offerings. It is also very good value for money, at £9.50 for a standard, or £11.50 for a large lunch.

I would suggest trying it out. It is a bit off the beaten track, but well worth a visit
