Mason's Coffee House — Restaurant in Chesterfield

This was my 1st visit here to this busy coffee house located on the main road through hasland .Fairly decent day so i sat down at one of the 5 tables available outside on the terrace in front of the building,I ended up having to go inside to obtain a menu as none are actually provided on them .There's a very good choice of drinks and a great variety of breakfast ,lighter bites & lunch food options at reasonable prices.Once inside, I did notice & pass the "Wait to be Seated "sign ,obviously for sitting inside dining as i made my way to place a Cappuccino & Gingerbread latte coffee order at counter.The Staff on duty were very pleasant as I also informed them i was sitting outside( no table numbers either ),cash or card payments are accepted Surprisingly the drinks didn't take very long to arrive with excellent table service provided. The breakfasts being served at other tables looked to be very nice so I can fully understand why it's very popular with the locals. I really enjoyed the visit & and I would definitely recommend it here to family & friends. Hopefully, I'll be returning back soon to try a breakfast when I'm next...

I have to say I love Masons coffee lounge and never pass up a chance to eat in there whether that be a simple coffee and cake or a decent all day breakfast or something of the specials board... the staff are always friendly and well managed by the owner Lesley and never leave you too long before inquiring in a non intruding way whever everything g is ok with you visit... they have recently just started table service who h we like very much and is really helpful. The atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming and they always make a fuss of our children which I think shows a great level of understanding from the owner on how to keep customers returning regularly. My wife and I have yet to find anything to much trouble for the friendly staff. It is more like nipping around to your friendly next door neighbours than it is...

What an absolute treasure. We could have been in any cosmopolitan city in Europe, not in a little village on the edge of Chesterfield. This place is absolutely beautiful. It was buzzing with people inside, some sat outside with blankets, which were provided. Staff had radiant smiles, and were quick to take our orders and offer advice. And when it arrived!!! My wife had latte, I spoiled myself with Mocha with dark chocolate and hazelnut syrup. We had a couple of shortbread snacks. This was the best mocha I have EVER tasted, rich, smooth and creamy.
