Visited with family for the first time for a birthday celebration meal, we were a table of 5. The building is lovely however the ceilings and doors are quite low and my tall brother had to keep an eye out. Thankfully I'm petite so this wasn't an issue for me. As we had pre booked we were seated quickly and were the only table in the restaurant for a while. Our waitress was very friendly. We all opted for burgers except my mum who had the lamb.
We waited around half an hour for our food but when it arrived it was clear that everything is cooked fresh to order. Food was not exactly hot but was served at a fairly acceptable temperatre. Read moreHi, My daughter and I wanted to have lunch, somewhere different to all of the local places we have been going to fairly regularly over recent years. Our lunch was, well, a lovely surprise to see a beautifully presented Sea Bass for my self, and my daughter, a vegan, had the best Vg vegy tart she has ever tasted. Our meals were excellent, tasty any most enjoyable, and for what we had, not expensive ! Thank you Barleycorn ! We will be...
