Four1Two — Restaurant in Chorley

What a gorgeous little hidden gem it is! Tucked away in Higher Wheelton, it’s a lovely local coffee shop and bakery with the added bonus of a cute gift shop inside. Dog friendly, welcoming staff, and a cosy vibe - what more could you want?

The veggie breakfast was a solid choice, I’m picky about veggie sausages but these got my full approval! The peaked brunch was a strong contender too, with mushrooms that were packed with flavour and that pesto drizzle really brought it all together. There was plenty of sourdough (just how I like it).

But the French toast absolutely stole the show. Warm blueberry compote, a creamy vanilla cheesecake topping, and a buttery biscuit crumble on top — heavenly. The strawberry oat matcha was another fave, sweet and earthy in all the right ways, and my iced caramel latte was the perfect sipper to round everything off.

This place is definitely worth a visit!

Stopped by as was in the area of taking the other half to a appointment.

So glad we found this place such a lovely coffee shop.

Cosy little place with a warm friendly atmosphere.

When we got there they had stopped serving hot food but we're still doing cold sandwiches and soup.

I had the BLT which i thoroughly enjoyed the bread was lovely and soft, the bacon was cooked to perfection and the crisps and coleslaw that accompanied it were spot on.

The other half had cheese salad which he said was very tasty.

We shared the soup of the day which was pea soup.

All good was prepared fresh, well presented and tasted fantastic.

Have been for coffee and cake a few times and really enjoyed it so decided to try brunch. Music so loud it ruined what would have been a nice atmosphere but much worse was being served a full English that was tepid at best. We waited long enough for it to be cooked to corder and my partner's bagel was hot and fresh but mine was disappointing. Mushrooms stone cold, tepid eggs and sausages, cold bacon, beans which had a skin as they'd been served a while before. And all on a cold plate. Won't return...
