I really don’t know why I keep coming back to this KFC! On every visit, staff continually leave out items from the orders…. I’ve never written a review for KFC but on this occasion I felt it necessary.
Since Ubers, deliveroos etc have been flowing through the doors, service has got even worse but todays visit took the biscuit.
I’d order our meals to find as usual things missing, sauces, stirrers, sugar etc anyhow the young lady quickly provided the items.
My grandson decided he needed to use the toilet, literally as soon as we had started eating. So I told a member of staff where I was going and NOT to clear out table. It was more than evident where I was going as the door to the toilet to be unlocked and was opened by the same lady I’d asked NOT to clear the table!
On return the same young lady was actually clearing the table!!! Obviously I was shocked and asked her what she was doing, to be told she thought I’d said to clear the table! I cannot comprehend for the life of me why she would think to clear it when she was the one to open the toilet door and the one I specifically asked NOT to clear our table! Her attitude was one of oblivion and when I asked what she was going to do, she advised she’d sort it out again. In true Buckshaw KFC service the order came with the wrong drink, items missing and an attitude I can only describe as lacking in good customer service as there was no apology, no smiles or anything just one very miserable, oblivious to the world young lady.
If you are using young people then at least train them properly so they give your customers a good customer service and a good experience, not a bad one.

We placed a big order for a special occasion which turned out to be a huge disappointment. I called the restaurant manager who explained the correct “seasoning” had NOT been added and offered a credit for six pieces of chicken as compensation. Although this did not represent the size of the ordered I accepted, as a local business owner I empathised and gave them the benefit of the doubt, that sometimes things can go wrong. Tonight, two months later, I ordered from the drive through just before 6pm. Again a large order, for all the family. I arrived home, served up the food - which was less than warm, but the worst was the fact the food was extremely dry and quite obviously had been sat on the Hot Plate for a very long time. Once I can forgive, but the second time is unacceptable and I will not be visiting this restaurant/take away again. What a shame as my children occasionally enjoy KFC and living not far from Buckshaw, the location...
Read moreShould be 0 stars, this is the fourth time using the KFC at Buckshaw considering it's only round the corner yet all four time's the order has been incorrect and with being far too busy myself haven't yet had chance to contact the management but will be making a point of doing tomorrow. My partner was told we cannot use the £5 off on the app on an offer which I find absolutely disgusting considering we have spent plenty to get that £5 off. Also the Chorley KFC have allowed us numerous times and to be honest I prefer there anyway considering these still cannot manage to get and order correct after weeks of being open.
