no food, no atmosphere. even a packet of crisps costs £1.55 the price is just ludicrous just a couple regulars and that’s it really. if you’re a newcomer the staff are friendly at first, the vast majority of bar staff are very nice the only issue is the landlady, they will happily charge you £4 for a pint that costs them 60p but then be disrespectful straight to your face. i have no problems with the bar workers EXCEPT from the landlady who is very rude. I cannot comment on the LANDLORD, I have not spoke to him but the landlady is on some kind of power trip and has no respect for the customers who are keeping...

As a regular at the springy i've never wanted to leave a review due to this hidden gem getting too popular but nows the time.

The atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming, even with the tough times which the UK has fallen on the costs of drinks is more than fair. Very friendly public house. Spotlessly clean. Food on pool nights is yummy. Great atmosphere and reasonable priced drinks.
