COPPULL RING MILL A FOUR-STOREY BRICK MILL IS A FORMER MASSIVE COTTON SPINNING MILL IN COPPULL, CHORLEY, LANCASHIRE. IT WAS OPENED IN 1906, AND IT’S SISTER MILL, MAVIS MILL IN 1908. TOGETHER THEY EMPLOYED 700 WORKERS AND IN 1912 AT THE PEAK OF PRODUCTION PRODUCED 8 BILLION YARDS OF FABRIC. THE MILL WAS TAKEN OVER BY THE LANCASHIRE COTTON CORPORATION IN THE 1930S AND PASSED TO COURTAULDS TEXTILE GIANTS IN 1964. THE BUILDING IS A GRADE II LISTED BUILDING AND IS NOW USED AS AN...
