I have to say the first time I went this chippy the food was good the fish was impeccable and the chips good. However the last three visits to yourselves the food to be honest tastes it was out of a bin the chips very dry and no potatoe inside, very poor hence your good reviews. Will not be returning.

Queens Vic in Chorley consistently delivers an amazing experience with their perfectly fried fish and chips. The spicy curry adds a delightful kick, and the staff provides friendly service, enhancing your overall dining satisfaction.

Had fish & chips from here, the chips didn’t really have much taste and the customer service wasn’t brilliant. Must say the large portion of chips could feed 4/5 people so bear that in mind when buying

For a chippy in Lancashire I cant believe it doesnt sell the biggest selling pie in the country. The Hollands Steak & Kidney pie sells more than six times of any other pie. If your chippy doesn't sell the steak and kidney pie and only offers the steak pie then its an issue with the owner not liking kidney or has religious concerns over the kidney. I have come across a few chippys that don't sell the steak and kidney saying they are not popular with customers but thats clearly not true. Lots of customers might say steak pie but they really mean steak and kidney. The vast majority of chippys sell the steak & kidney pie and dont even have a steak pie. Hollands do do a steak pie and also do peppered steak pies. However if a chippy doesn't sell the steak and kidney i will walk out every time and not buy anything. I will then find one that does sell them. Unfortunately the chips at the Queen vic were very poor. I dont know if they were prepacked or frozen or if their oil was poor grade palm oil but the chips were dry dark and tasted of nothing and even with gravy on I took one mouthful and couldn't wait to find a bin. The reason why I even bought the chips was I had been past about 6 chippys that were closed on a Tuesday and it was nearly 10pm so other chippys would be closed. I am diabetic and needed some...

Ordered one small battered cod today with side of mushy peas. Fish was very small and not much in the way of white flaky flesh. Batter was greasy and both the batter and the fish were chewy and both had strange after-taste. Time of order was mid-afternoon on a weekday so I'm not sure how long the fish had been left out under the heater, but it wasn't cooked to order. If I had lived nearer the chippy then I would have returned it due to the poor quality and taste. The peas were edible but also had a strange after taste. As always, I save a little piece of the fish for my dog but even he struggled with eating it and he usually just hoovers food up. Wouldn't use this chippy again and can't recommend the battered fish on the back of...

Stopped by to give this a try, actually my 5th different chippy this week having been around a bit this week. In truth the others all outshone this one, the fish was good enough, but the chips were a little under done and still hard with fat still in them. The regular portion size was huge on the chips, some might like that but it was far more than any normal person could manage so a lot were wasted. There wasn't a small option. Everything came seperate which made it hard to eat and way too much packaging waste in a world filling with rubbish. Whilst it was good enough, I wouldn't rush...
