The View Bar and Bistro — Restaurant in Chorley

Went here for fathers day and not disappointed. The food was excellent. 2 or 3 course set menu with plenty of choice, including vegetarian option. Already booked to go back again. Once a month they have a set Sunday menu. I ordered the Cod Loin and it was one of the nicest cooked fish I have had. It came with new potatoes and wide selection of very tasty vegetables. Dessert was home made apple crumble. Two courses for £17.95 or three courses for £21.95 which is great value for fresh produce, very tasty food and good portions....

We have been going to The View for the past 6 months and have enjoyed various planned events and dining experiences. We love the quality of the food and drinks, the wine amazing! Last night we decided to try the curry night to takeaway, we were not disappointed. It was lovely and the onion bhajis were a particular hit.... So tasty!! We were invited to Fishy Friday by the in-laws, who raved about it, and we can see why! The service was fantastic, thanks to Millie and our waiter, Josh. The fish was incredibly fresh, with a light and fluffy batter that melted in our mouths. The chips were freshly cut and cooked to perfection. We were sad when the meal came to an end!
