Costa Coffee — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

Very disappointed to be asked to leave the cafe while boarding a fully trained guide dog "incase other customers had issue with her". It was 5pm on Saturday, there were only two customers in the cafe, one of whom had actually said hello to the dog on the way by. We fully understand it is at the establishment's discretion to let guide dogs in when they are not with their visually impaired owner, but seeing as we sat in the corner out of the way of everyone we were left very disappointed by this cafe's attitude towards guide dogs. We have been welcomed in Costa before (this is actually the first time we've been refused anywhere) with a guide dog and after being asked to leave here we visited the Costa at Bruntsfield and were welcomed in.🐕🐾 If only all the staff were...

After school drop off I usually crawl in here to get my morning over priced coffee fix. This shop has the small independent feel you'd expect from a small coffee shop. They always, always have my coffee on the go when they see me and I love that. they know my name, enough to ask me about work and overall it's a pleasant experience. For a coffee shop in a supermarket, they manage to do what most coffee shops strive for. There's always a queue and I often wonder what we did before...

I have never came across such a rude fat English individual or miserable two faced idiot in my life never happy everything seems to be an effort and the tables are still always full of empty cups and plates while staff members are at the back talking,the fat English bint thinks she owns the place she has to stand side ways to get through the door the quicker her boy gets deployed else...
