Kinleith Mill — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

Sat down and started with starters.. Not bad.. Main course cheese bacon hamburger.. absolutely terrible a hole in the ground would have been better than cremated... Companion had to return the cheese macaroni as it tasted off... So returned it to kitchen waited 15 mins and no replacement or apology and not even a offer of a 3rd course... My child's chicken nuggets were as hard as a bricks they would definitely smash a window... During the so called meal... 3 dogs in room and 2 of them wanting to rip the heads of each other was like a war zone I was going to nip down to pets at home and buy a boxing ring for them We had to sit at the table and wait for no service to pay the bill and ended up having to go to the bar... Once again no thanks or sorry we walked out of the premises thinking never again... So save ur money and go elsewhere you have been warned p.s could not leave NO STARS...

Not worth the price of the visit. Sadly for Kinlieth Mill I'm a food critic working in Edinburgh and this was shockingly overpriced. £40 for two meals??? £4.75 a pint of lager??? For an extra 5 minutes drive to the Rutland hotel on the west end, one could enjoy a Michelin star meal for £15 each. Some are cheaply priced in and around the city centre; Prime cuts...etc. I was shocked. Not surprised though as this is what some owners do and the couple owns the Riccarton Inn too. So they think to have the monopoly in the Currie area. But for me its not worth the trek out there. Sorry Kinlieth Mill you're disappointing on many areas. Not serving certain lagers on match days...Neither do Ricarton...

I'm not really one to write reviews of places, but this place is just simply fantastic! The overall atmosphere is so warm, friendly, relaxed and welcoming that I don't even think it's possible to have a bad time there. We stumbled across this pub while looking for a place to grab something small to eat and drink a beer. After a horrible start to our Scotland roadtrip, this pub and it's staff lifted our spirits! The food is simply amazing and worth every penny! They also have a great assortment of drinks! If anyone is looking for a good time this is definitely worth a look and if I'm ever back in Edinburgh this will definitely be up on top of my...
