Dinner last night. Food was delicious and the staff are lovely. Unfortunately, the service time was pretty bad. Think they need a member of staff on the bar who deals only with getting drinks out. 4 drinks which in total took almost half an hour to be delivered to our table. 1 beer arrived.....then 1 cocktail.......and after a long wait the other two cocktails arrived. Sat for over half an hour before we ordered our food and this order was checked twice after being given. Takeaways seemed to take staff away from restaurant customers. Busy nights - 1 on bar and another dealing with the phone and takeaway orders. Waiting staff left to deal with tables. As I've already said, the food was lovely but the service really was haphazard and has to be looked at. Large menu which could be cut and still offer a good choice. I flew to Edinburgh for a customer visit and didn't have any time to pick up food or drinks during the day before leaving the customer site at 22:00. We found this restaurant via Google and besides arriving just a few minutes before closing 22:30 and them already cleaning the restaurant, they told us no issue, come in we still can make any food.

This friendliness was astonishing. I felt so sorry the entire time, but they reassured it is fine. They had to keep the restaurant open for almost an hour more than the official opening hours.

Again, I want to apologize, I usually hate doing that, but the travel plan left me no choice 😣

The chicken Tikka masala was delicious and the sweet man bread was omnomnom.

Next time I'm in Edinburgh I promise to show up at a more normal time. Highly recommend...

Staff very welcoming and friendly. Lovely food. We had Baba Ganoush with amazing home made bread and chicken wings to start then chicken kebab and grilled chicken both served with rice and sauce, good sized portions, chicken very tender. When we arrived the restaurant was a little cold, they did apologise and sorted the heating out. I thought the lighting was good when we arrived but someone suggested turning it up, in my opinion the lights should be lower to create a bit of ambience. They had a bit of trouble with the music, that definitely needs to be sorted as you don’t want to be hearing other people’s conversations.
