Apparently Peppercorn Edinburgh is a brand new restaurant, which I found out from the really friendly guy who delivered our meal tonight. He said hello, asked me how and was and seemed kind and genuine. Great service 😊
I’m terms of the food, we were actually really impressed with the feast we got for what we paid (and we were suitably stuffed after eating it!) The food was delicious, particularly the korma, and I also really loved trying the paneer, which I’d never even heard of never mind tasted - a great choice.
The fact that you can get a peshwari naan (which is like my favourite Indian dish ngl…) AND rice included within the meal deal is absolutely brilliant value too.

Read moreDo NOT order from this restaurant, after recieving NO phonecalls from the (restaurant employed) driver, he arrived and was extremely aggressive and rude towards me. He then went on to try and refuse to give me the food, shouting at me on the street as I had to follow him out.
When I eventually got the food from the driver, it was all terrible. The chicken tandoori had clearly been sitting in a manky tray in the window, and the chicken in the curry was poorly cooked and shaped extremely questionably. The Naan may as well have been a ball of dough due to how undercooked it was.
Don't usually like leaving bad reviews but this place has had to be one of the WORST takeout experiences ever! Horrible customer service and food to match it, the driver also purposefully didn't mark the order as "delivered" for hours after he had been, so that we could not complain. Don't...
Read moreI recently ordered from Peppercorn and had the pleasure of trying their lamb biryani, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan. I must say, the food was absolutely amazing and delicious. Every bite was a burst of flavors that left me wanting more. The dishes had a perfect balance of flavors, with each ingredient shining through. The quality of the food surpassed my expectations, and I found myself thoroughly enjoying every aspect of my meal. The lamb biryani, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan were all outstanding in their own right, showcasing the culinary expertise of this establishment. If you’re looking for an Indian takeaway that offers mouthwatering dishes bursting with authentic flavors, I highly recommend giving Peppercorn a try. You won’t be...
