We ordered from here as big fans of momos, my boyfriend’s parents live in manchester next to a restroom called tibetan kitchen and it’s our favourite place to eat when we’re home for holidays. We had high expectations coming here and although the momos were very different to what we’re used to, they were also delicious! The madras was different to other madras that we’ve tasted but in a very good way! It has a good level of spice for me and I have a very high spice tolerance (if you have an average spice tolerance you might find it a bit too spicy, my boyfriend who has a an average/high tolerance found it a bit spicy). The restaurant also included free poppadoms with dips which was a very nice touch! We’ve just ordered again and are waiting for our delivery. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
My only issue is that the menu is a bit confusing to navigate on uber eats, deliveroo and just eat. We had a just eat voucher that we wanted to use but couldn’t because on just eat there’s no option to have the momos fried. On uber eats the garlic chilli veg was set (obviously accidentally) to £799 instead of £7.99. We ended up using deliveroo but the menu could be organised a bit better. We would’ve preferred to order directly from the restaurant’s website to take advantage of the 20% off and to make sure all the money goes to the restaurant rather than deliveroo, but you can only order for collection on the website and it was also a bit confusing to navigate as well. It’s a new restaurant and this isn’t a major issue - just genuine feedback for a small...
Read moreAbsolutely phenomenal experience at Momo Nepalese Kitchen! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting and authentic albeit on a smaller side, setting the stage for an incredible dining journey. The staff were not only friendly but incredibly knowledgeable about Nepalese cuisine, guiding us through the menu with helpful suggestions.
The food was beyond exceptional—each dish bursting with authentic flavors and made with the freshest ingredients. The momos were a highlight, perfectly steamed and filled with deliciousness. Their buff momo was simply out of the world. Just like the ones i remember from the streets of kathmandu. The variety of dishes offered something for every palate, showcasing the rich diversity of Nepalese culinary traditions.
Moreover, the service was impeccable. The staff's attention to detail and their genuine enthusiasm to ensure we had a memorable experience truly stood out. The portions were generous, and every dish was presented beautifully.
Overall, Momo Nepalese Kitchen is a gem that embodies culinary excellence, top-notch service, and an inviting atmosphere. It's a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Nepalese cuisine. Can't wait to return for more of their...
Read moreVisited this restaurant for the first time today and was blown away by the quality of both the service and the food. I didn’t really know what I wanted and the gentleman at the counter gave me lots of advice and recommendations. I ended up going for the Kothey Momo, Namche with Chicken (curry) and a side of egg rice. They even altered the spice level for my curry! Everything was super flavoursome and fresh. I can’t actually describe the flavour of the curry, but it was so unique and comforting with plenty of chicken. Whilst waiting on my order I was given a complimentary cup of chai tea which really tied this whole experience together. I will definitely be going back, and can’t wait to try...
