Overall I am sorry to say the cons outweighed the pros. I appreciate the bar serving area is small, but with every square inch packed it looks congested and untidy. The selection of ale on draught was uninspiring. Furthermore, I find the booth seats a strange design, as one has to climb in and up into them, then sort of perch. Not comfortable. A nice bonus is that St Botolph's brewery beers are sold here too (the brewery is in the Colchester area)these are well worth a try.
