Where to begin… F-O-Y-E-Z! On an Easter break we decided to have a meal at Asha’s at the Crown. Upon ordering I was told to ‘hurry up’. Then repeatedly spoken to patronisingly by Foyez. When trying to finish our food my girlfriend was told to ‘hurry up’. On leaving I asked the manager serving us for his name. He shouted ‘FOYEZ’ spelling it out repeatedly. He then shouted at me and aggressively patted me on my back asking me to leave a review, trying to antagonise me. Then threatened me to ‘take it outside’ to which I responded calmly ‘you’ve gone too far’ and as mature adults we stood our ground whilst being told to ‘f-off’ and repeatedly threatened to ‘take it outside’ again. Abhorrent service from the manager. The other staff members were very apologetic, but this is no remedy for such behaviour. Read moreWe had evening meal here last Saturday evening (were staying nearby Little Horseshoe Lake lodge). The pub was lovely, great atmosphere and busy. The food was tasty. We ordered poppadoms and main meal. Service was prompt and staff friendly. However, were a little concerned and surprised when the waitress advised us our main meal was READY just 5 minutes after bringing the poppadoms (which we had been given promptly), leaving us with suspicion our meal was prepared.
