A very unclean ran down service station
First time using Greggs and the last.
Order a ham and cheese baggatte and an apple drink on their meal deal and was asked if I wanted heated up, not realising that it costs 50p extra as well as heating it up negates the meal deal so effectively cost £3.00 extra And when I questioned this I was told it was all on the labelling. When I stated that none of this was clear and that they offered to heat it up, without mentioning and price lift . I got a barrage from 2 staff members, eventually they reluctantly offered a refund of £2.50.
But then they wrongly accused me of swearing which I categorically did not.

Read moreThe first visit to this particular location, it provided the perfect stop for coffee and a sausage roll before heading towards the A1 roadworks. Located to the rear of the petrol station, the road to the service area service sneaks up on you as it's not particularly obvious. Ample parking is available in a large car park also utilised by the Travelodge and Burger King. There are toilets onsite, which were in good condition and clean. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Read moreThe car park was full of pot holes. I wanted to have a Burger King meal, but was asked to order it on the screens. I'm not tech savvy, & as I don't get paid to work for the company to take my order, I passed & went to Greggs instead. Greggs food was fine, as always. The toilets looked OK but absolutely reeked of stale urine in the ladies. Discusting! The whole place felt grubby, uninviting & pretty soulless. The Greggs/Burger King services on the A140, near Ipswich is exactly the same, only with more pot holes. Come on guys. You're losing custom. Surely you...
