We have ordered from here lots over the last few years and portion size, quality, taste is lovely! The first time we ordered, we opted to pay cash on delivery and it was delivered on time. 2nd order, we paid online and had to wait 2 hours - not impressed. We then went back to "cash on delivery" and no further problems. Unfortunately, since the Covid-19 situation paying cash on delivery is no longer an option - you can only pay online before actually receiving what's been paid for! We ordered tonight at 7.30pm with an estimated delivery time of 8.45pm. Rung at 9.45pm to be told it would be 15/20minutes. An hour later rung again and asked for a refund as it's now nearly 11pm and we're ready to go to bed. Person answering the phone then proceeds to have an argument with my husband and offered to deliver the food another day!!!!!! Such a shame as this was the only Indian restaurant we would order from but not any more. We don't even know if our food is actually being cooked and delivered or if we will have to contact the bank, raise a dispute and get a refund that way. My boyfriend ordered from this place a couple of weeks back, but he ordered a range of things including peshwari naan bread. Since he has a nut allergy, he asked them if there were nuts in the peshwari naan bread, and he was reassured that there were no nuts in the naan bread. When he ate the naan bread, he had to be hospitalised due to the bad reaction to the naan bread.

Since the food was actually good, we decided to order food from there again and just chalked it up to one bad experience. However, we ordered from the JustEat app and got told that there were not enough delivery men, so the food might take longer to arrive. We were okay with this until we were left waiting over 2 hours for the food. We rang them up again to get told that the order was cancelled without us being told about it.

In short: don't order here, unless you have no allergies and are happy to collect the food. It's a shame that we've had such a bad experience because the food is known...

We ate here, tonight. The decor is peculiar, the food is not good. The chicken tikka masala I ordered, having enjoyed tikka masala many times before in other restaurants, was overpoweringly sweet, I could barely discern any curry flavour. The raita which accompanied the poppadums, which we were not infomed when we were offered them when we first sat down, cost 7 pounds, was also extremely sweet, the chef obviously has a predilection for using a lot of sugar. Then when I went to pay they dont accept cards, only cash. There was no toilet paper in the ladies or disabled toilet. I did not enjoy my meal and felt ripped off. DON'T EAT HERE!
