We use this pub regularly and on xmas day we made plans to have a drink in there only for us to be told quite nastily that the tills had been closed and would not serve us at 3.10 when advertised on Facebook it was 4pm and on a leaflet at 5pm . Left a comment 3 times and been deleted . Just disgraceful and it was the owner that spoke to us . No respect for villagers that use pub regularly.we have supported this pub many times when there has been no one in over the Xmas period and before and to be treated this way on Xmas day was just...

What a fabulous place. Such a shame the pin was completely empty , I say outside in the sunshine, so lovely. Why isn't this place advertised, met someone in Hickleton they were so surprised that it was open, they thought it was closed. Needs signs up outside on the roads with opening times and whatever else is happening. Me and my wife travel a fair way to visit this outstanding establishment. The bar menu doesn’t disappoint serving the finest pizzas around. We often visit Sicily as a couple and the pizzas certainly rival this. The street food served outside is lovely and the change in menu is certainly a hit on the weekend. The staff are always very welcoming and the outdoor seating areas with the screens are handy to keep my kids busy and watch the football. As a family we love this pub and will...
