The Hayfield Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Doncaster

I’d just like to state what a fantastic Sunday lunch I’ve just had at the Hayfield Lodge when I was served at the carvery I was offered two meats out of the three that was on offer which was Beef Pork and baked ham I was told to help myself to all the rest on offer which I assure you I don’t need telling twice I loved the buttery smooth mash and crispy roasties and the veg was really beautiful and the stuffing balls are lovely not forgetting what amazing gravy you make . All in all the five of us had an amazing Sunday lunch thank you we will back as often as work allows.

Ps I must admit to falling asleep on the settee when I got home...

Son had been last week and recommended it. Food was very tasty however they ran out of carrots and roast potatoes so we felt short changed. It was freezing cold and most people sat with their coats on. Waitress told us they had took over 2 weeks ago. chef was poorly. they were running out of food and had to turn walkins away. No one knew how to turn heating on. We had booked you would have thought they would have kept enough food for people who had booked. Dissapointing but due to service and staff been good we would give it another go...

We usually come here on a Sunday for Carvery and a few drinks and it’s always good food but we decided to book our engagement party here on the 9th July and I can’t thank you enough I couldn’t of asked for better, they did a beautiful spread more than enough for 40 people hot and cold food, sadly I didn’t take any photos I was to busy having a good time and using my phone for the music but honestly 5 stars isn’t enough we all had a great night thanks...
