I wish I could endorse this coffee shop - itâs lovely to see a local coffee shop trying to do the right things, and it looks warm and inviting, a bit like a mix between a âgreasy spoonâ with the sauces in a box on the table, and a Starbucks/mummy cafe with bench seating and clean outside design.
Itâs just a shame that the coffee is so bitter and none of the cakes are fresh and instead are ultra-processed and wrapped in plastic.
Not only that but at 9.30am looking for a relaxing morning coffee, i was met with oppressive drum and bass night club music. Being practically the only person in there I asked if they could change it - and was told cheerfully that I was wrong and that they get lots of compliments on their music. Not even an acknowledgment of my feelings towards it, just a ânope youâre wrongâ

Exactly what I would have done at home. The granary bread was nice and light and soft, making a perfect sarnie. I'm allergic to cow's milk so I wasn't able to have a coffee frappe like my friend, but was offered similar alternatives with a choice of plant milk. I opted for oat milk in an iced coffee. This was just perfect, not too strong with a nice viscosity with the oat milk. Had a lovely chat with the owner who also recommended other local cafes. You definitely don't get that very often! It was very clean, plenty of choices for food and drink. We are going to try a Cypriot...
Read moreI visited with my friend, a toddler and 2 babies. The staff could not be accommodating. They made a meal 'off menu' for my toddler and added crisps when requested and it seemed to not be a problem at all. The staff were more than happy to help.
The menu has a Mediterranean twist as well as traditional cafe meals. The drinks menu is extensive and includes fancy coffees and smoothies. The Cypriot sandwich was tasty and came is amazing tzatziki. There is sunny outside seating and bench seating inside.
The service is the best thing about this cafe. They are so friendly, welcoming...
