The Wee Cafe — Restaurant in Dunfermline

Been staying with a friend round here for a week, she suggested this place for breakfast. After the first day, went here for breakfast almost every day I was here, which says a lot!

The food is absolutely lush, the staff cheery and kind and nothing is too much trouble for them, kept very clean and the prices, for what you get, are unbeatable.

Very tidy little place, when I'm next back up here it'll be the first place I come to eat at! Just wish I could give more...

Popped into The Wee Café after a stressful day and it was exactly what I needed. The place has a really relaxed vibe – nothing over the top, just easy to switch off and enjoy a bit of quiet. Coffee was spot on, smooth and not rushed, and the staff were friendly without being in your face. Egg, tattie scone and hash brown roll, 2 pancakes and jam ordered. Egg was fine, roll was fine, hash brown very soggy and covered in sausage bits or bits of meat scrap, tattie scone tasteless, only 1 pancake, jam thrown at it from across the room and the pancake itself was undercooked (wet, raw batter). Not a good experience at all, not worth a phonecall for a second chance as it'll be another hour...
