Townhill Loch Cafe — Restaurant in Dunfermline

Visited here today! I saw someone with strawberry matcha and went in! Didn't realise there was a cafe there. I got an iced strawberry macha with oat milk, a mocha and a mars bar empire biscuit. The staff were lovely, there were a couple of tables in the hallway for dogs which was helpful for my pupper. Well priced and fairly quick service. Even had some dog biscuits in the hallway. Not dog friendly. There is a clear prohibition sign on the inside door so you are welcome to have dogs as long as you keep it outside … So not dog friendly in the manner most would expect.

Also staff were reluctant to serve a few extra paces to a bench when the adjacent seating was full. Not very welcoming at all.

Baking was nice but coffee was bitter.

What's the point in having SIX different posters on your doors with festive opening hours, then don't even follow them yourselves?! I specifically walked up here in the rain and freezing wind for Christmas vouchers (which was arranged via messenger to collected today, between 10-2 - it's 11 right now!) and your staff ignored me when I chapped...
