The worst pub I have ever had the misfortune to enter.

I had a number of friends visiting at the weekend, as I had yet to visit the "Cranberry Farm" pub, I thought this a good opportunity to take my friends along for Sunday Lunch.

On first impressions it is very nice, it would be it's brand new, although considering this I was not impressed with the patio slabs and the exposed steel i-beams inside (not good design when you are trying to recreate an old farmhouse feel).

The staff were friendly and we were shown our booked table. As we were early we decided to get a drink and sit outside for a short while. When we returned it all started to go wrong. Someone was now sat at our table, no explanation was given and we were pushed onto a pokey little adjacent table. We had menus and were told the food would take about 25 minutes. We ordered, but after 55 mins and being told several times the food was on its way we had to leave. We were visiting a friend in hospital so could not spend the entire day waiting.

On leaving the manager was very apologetic and said he would not charge for the drinks. Next morning my I see my card has been charged over £42 for 5 drinks!

Poor management, poor service, never got to taste the food, probably poor quality, to sum up a shambles! Oh, no Yorkshire puddings cause the chef couldn't get them right. And they let dogs in, so I had some dog from adjoining table keep sniffing me, and we had to endure endless barking.

My advice, give...

The view of the restaurant is very nice, the place is new and smells fresh. The toilets are clean, I also really like the look of the garden and furniture. The exterior fire pit is a nice addition and the interior is definitely spacious. After we gave our order it took almost 40 minutes to receive our starter. The waiter walked around the restaurant, asked another member of staff and finally after we caught her attention she has realized that this is where we are sat (right in front of her). Our order of meat board has been finally placed on the table. The meat and potato portion was of a nice size, however the tzatziki was definitely not enough even for one person. We have also received a mystery sauce of same portion that was not on the menu. It looked and smelled off and so we left it to the side. The chicken was tasteless and only the sauce it was in gave it some taste. The rest of the food tasted nice however. The waiter was kind, although she herself did not know what the sauce was and agreed with us that it was definitely off. Apparently it was at the fault of the chef and the sauce has been completely gotten rid of, as well as we have received a discount on the bill. We waited almost an hour for our main meal (after the starter, not from when we came in!) and decided the wait is not worth it. Apparently this place is only 5 moths old and mistakes may happen, however if this is the quality that they would keep it will definitely not grow into a...

I genuinely cannot recall a single instance of encountering any sort of issue or inconvenience during my numerous visits to this establishment. It's a consistently positive experience, every single time. The culinary offerings here are truly exceptional, always prepared with a discernible level of care and skill, resulting in dishes that are both delicious and satisfying. What's more, this high standard of quality is maintained without resorting to exorbitant pricing; the meals are always offered at remarkably fair and reasonable rates, providing excellent value for money. Beyond the delectable food, one of the standout features is their truly impressive and thoughtfully curated selection of beers. Unlike many places that offer a predictable, almost generic array of choices, this establishment boasts a "non generic" collection that is both diverse and interesting, catering to a wide range of palates and often introducing patrons to unique and delightful brews they might not have encountered elsewhere. This commitment to variety and quality in their beverage program truly sets them apart. And finally, complementing all of these wonderful aspects is the fantastic team of individuals who work there. The staff are consistently friendly, welcoming, and attentive, always ready to assist with a genuine smile and a helpful attitude. Their professionalism and warmth contribute significantly to the overall enjoyable atmosphere, making every visit a pleasure from...

First impressions were really good, friendly staff and well designed interior. Insode Cranberry Farm has two sections; bar and restaurant. As you can see in the pictures it looks great. Outside is a lot of seating with heaters from when it's cold. We were seated by friendly staff and offered drinks. Good wine selection and the ale is from Badger brewery which has really tasty beer. Food is reasonably priced and decent portions. It was also well presented and was very tasty. There is a Mon-Thurs early bird meal offer which I will be checking out in the future. Great new addition to Cranbrook town.

We ate here in early July and it was also the day of an England football game so it was pretty quiet! The service from our waitress was very friendly and efficient. We ordered scotch egg and whitebait for starters (the scotch egg was a little disappointing as it was like a supermarket one with a hard yolk and not a restaurant quality one with a runny yolk, though it was at a low lower price that they normally are), mains were a full rack of ribs and a pie (both good portions and very tasty). We were too full for dessert but they looked huge from seeing another table's!
