I have just moved to the area and went for a Sunday roast. So, I tried out The New Inn. The staff were really friendly, dogs are welcome in the restaurant as well (a separate food area only). When leaving the pub, continue towards Exeter and choose to rejoin the M5 by going through Pinhoe or, or better scenically, via Broadclyst Station and Exeter airport - or the reverse if heading North. Well...
