Frankies Bordon — Restaurant in East Hampshire

I went to Frankie's tonight for half chicken and chips.. not sure what has gone wrong but my chips weren't very nice slimey and greasy and they tasted like the fat they were cooked in was old very bitter taste... and my chicken wasn't cooked very well either.. sorry frankies but if you are not told you don't know.. just for the record kaz was true to his word and I had my free meal.. it was lovely thank you frankies. Great place for fish and chips, always fresh and made to order. Friendly and helpful staff always a service with a smile. Portions are good, a small chips will feed two adults without over doing things. Batter remains crisp even after a 10 minute drive home. Parking a bit hit and miss when the lay-by opposite is full. People soon move though so a few minutes wait is nothing drastic. Would recommend over other...

Trying some chippys in the area, though this one sounded good. Ordered large cod, small chips and curry sauce. Got back home to eat, the chips were soggy and tasteless. The fish was 'swimming' in grease and the batter was not very crispy. Also it still had the skin on and I hate that. The curry sauce was average. The meal was hot though and the cod itself was nice. I wish I could find somewhere that used beef...
