We have been meaning to go here for a while so with restrictions lifted we booked a table. Really nice interior mixing old and new and it had a good atmosphere It was very busy in the restaurant but also busy with take away orders, so service for those seated was quite slow Food was really good, I had the chicken Tawa as I like to try something different and it was excellent, the peshwari naan was one of the best we'd had so all in all it was excellent Weekends prepare for a wait and check your bill .... but I would say it's definitely worth it, we will be back

The food was extremely enjoyable and is a hidden gem in High Wych. The restaurant was recommended by a friend and lived up to my expectations. The portions of the rice are extremely big which can be shared by two person. The main dishes are a decent size too. The service was a little slow although not being busy at the time we dined in, but we did go during Christmas break and the restaurant started to fill up with many customers during mid evening. I would definitely recommend Chandini and return in the near future.

A beautiful halal Indian restaurant with fantastic tandoori, near to the Manor of Groves hotel (a few mins walk). The lamb noorjhani curry was excellent, and our family elders loved the Saag paneer (spinach and cheese curry). Mr Khalid looked after all of our requests, was kind and polite to all of our guests. Note that lunch on a Sunday starts from 2pm. Highly recommend.

"Chandini Song"

Chandiiini chandiiini what a wonderfull world of spice

Channdiiini, chandiiini, where you know that your food will be nice.

Its the andrew murray of Curry I could eat their paneer for a year when I gobble it up my tum tum gives a cheer Their spice is so nice and the rice a delight, it's an excellent shout for a cold winters night.

You'll feel warmer with a korma And you should ransack a bowl of Dansak soaked up with a naan full of charm.

And once your all done have some desert for your tum, with a bowl full of ice creams or some rum.

So you've brought along your aunty, and she fancies a byriani, chandinins got covered don't you fear.

Fill it up with chicken tikka, peshwari nann for something sweeter, and wash it down with a lovely chilled lager beer.

Often order a delivery but won’t be ordering ever again after last night. Driver arrives really aggressively knocking so while my partner run upstairs to get the cash I opened the door driver throw the food at me and scarpered off. Then at gone 9pm we get a phone call saying we’ve not paid my partner said he would call the restaurant in the morning to pay as we were having an early night. We call the restaurant in the Morning but it’s closed. Then we start getting calls from the driver and we tell them we call the restaurant and pay, Called the restaurant no answer. Then we start getting calls from the drivers cousin telling us to pay. About 5:30 the restaurant answers and we pay. But we will never order from them again the amount of harassment for something that was their mistake and the fact our telephone number was shared with the drivers cousin is unbelievable and unprofessional Has the restaurant...

Great takeaway - We ordered Chandinis for the first time, decided to call and place our order due to allegies in the group order, this was obviously the best practise as the server was able to advise per dish what could be adjusted to accommodate. We had butter chicken, chicken madras, korma, onion bhajis, garlic nanns, rices and saags etc, star of the show for me was the mushroom rice, it was probably the best i have had from an indian takeout!

Collection was quick and easy, and we got a text in advance showing the total bill and option to pre pay before collecting, which i thought was a nice touch! Clear and transparent.

Would 100% use again, and maybe next time try a dine in, restaurant looked...
