Friendly service, lovely selection of cakey bakey goodness, with a takeaway service of cheese scones (and anything else we fancied). Good coffee, good tea (in a big pot.. "plentiful quantities") were served; the Cappuccino had sweet dark chocolate grated onto the creamy froth. Found the Weavers Tea Room this afternoon. We had given up at Framlingham Castle cafe. We were shown a table and menu by the nice lady in the Tea Room. My wife had a lovely home made soup and cheese scone. I had scrambled eggs and a cheese scone, lovely. Wish I had had room for a piece of lovely cake on the counter. Lovely surroundings with Peacocks wandering by outside and beautiful trees and historic buildings. The scones are huge and really need warming up especially on a cold rainy day. Sadly the cream comes in plastic pots which seems terribly wasteful considering how much plastic waste you see on the beaches in Suffolk and the jam in tiny jars,cute but again,so wasteful.The tea itself was good and hot and the service...
