The Cottage Pub — Restaurant in Eastleigh

Lovely friendly pub where you get welcomed if you are a regular or someone thats never been before.

The staff are fantastic and very attentive, if you have an empty or nearly empty glass you can be sure that someone will ask you if you want another.

The 6x is out of this world, the best kept 6x I have ever drank.

There are sandwiches normally that are very nice but simple, just what you want after a hard day at work, a good beer and a roll.

This may well be a nice pub, unfortunately not on this occasion. We went looking for food early on a Saturday night. Loads of pies on the menu only to be told they were changing suppliers, so no pies available. Nothing much left that sounded appealing. My wife ordered a bottle of peroni (out of the fridge) it was warm and she couldn't drink it.

Excellent meal and first class service. We phoned up at short notice and booked a table outside in the garden. Met with a friendly welcoming greeting and nothing was too much trouble. The food and drinks were really good value for money. The Sunday roasts are of a high standard and super portions.
