The tea room is just down the road from us and is where we go for afternoon tea a couple of times a week. The staff are all very friendly and efficient and the afternoon teas are great value for money at £4.95 for a large fruit scone, choice of jam, butter and Roddas clotted cream. There are a choice of teas at no extra cost. There is a veranda wit tables and benches, a sitting out area on the lawn and extensive interior seating. Nice and friendly staff. Reasonable selection of food and drinks, both hot and cold but not as cheap on the food price. Family friendly, child friendly, Adult friendly as well as well behaved dog friendly cafe. Dogs and lead holder are expected to enter through the door on the far side (furthest from the car park) where a spaceious area of the cafe is partialy set aside for the dogs and their comparison. Very busy and long queue for food, which saw the blackboard menu depleting as we watched - some were disappointed after long wait, not even soup left. We were disturbed to note many people without masks and also there was no table cleaning taking place, Tables were merely cleared but never wiped.
