Weekend WildnessWeekend Wildness
Great music, really personal and cosy. The food was pretty good and was on the table in about 10 minutes. Definitely a nice little tuck away to chill out and relax. The activities there during the day are plentiful and its an all round great place to be. EDIT We visited last night to watch our friend play live music, but unfortunately it was so busy the queue for the bar was wild, but we can't expect less on a bank holiday weekend.

What a brilliant evening my grandson and I had! We arrived at 6.30 and it was extremely busy, even so, we managed to find a table. Despite being so busy the staff were really friendly and happy. The food is very reasonably priced, I thought, for a holiday establishment, and arrived quickly. There was live music on the night we were there, which was very good, and the walk up through the woodland, with all the lights, was magical!

Friendly staff and very decent food. Could, perhaps, do with a tad more signage for the café around the centre's reception area: something to indicate that it's on the 'top floor' would be handy - we just took an educated guess...

I've been itching to get here since they changed up the menu but just haven't managed to time it right. But after staying at the Basecamp the weekend we came down to do some tobogganing and had lunch in here after.

The staff were super friendly and despite a queue everything went really quickly and easily. The food was hot, fresh, good sized portions, and super tasty. I especially recommend the K2 burger and the pulled pork fries. The variety was nice and the food really tasty. Will definitely have...

Food was tasty but every member of the parties food was cold on arrival. Dirty tables throughout and staff seemingly milling around with very little to do, if you'd like a hint, try clearing and wiping down tables between diners and not expect your customers to do it for you.

As we finished our meal they began setting up for a party around us making us feel very rushed and unwelcome.

In retrospect I'd recommend this place for a quick snack or warm drink and not a place for a meal...

Absolutely awful experience. Packed beyond belief with tightly packed picnic benches covered in food on the tables and floor. Extremely noisy with many screaming kids in too small a space. 2 hour wait for food that was then awful - pieminster pie - should be amazing but serves with gross mash, and pizzas that tasted like cardboard. Felt robbed after a 2 hour wait for take away food that we mostly left. Wouldn’t go back in a million...
