Son and I had just been for a walk / geocaching adventure in the surrounding beautiful area. (For context; dog had jumped up at me - I was absolutely clarted in mud - felt a bit up market but we found a nice bench out of the way.) My son said the coffee was really good (double shot flat white) and I found my cup of tea perfectly fine. Should have asked but wanted to know what type of black tea it was. Could have done with a corrugated cardboard cup holder (I just like them). Prices seemed a bit high.. think I saw some mini dog biscuits for £1 and that startled me. Anyway - a welcome oasis midst natures wonderland.

Stopped here for a rest on our walk. Lots of paths leading here, ranging from the well paved route from valley gardens to the steep steps of the Harrogate Ringway trail. Lots of beautiful views. Great selection of drinks and treats. We had a latte, a Bakewell slice & a biscoff flapjack and we enjoyed them all. The queue was very slow, but the two girls serving were very pleasant and going as fast as possible. There's plenty of benches outside as well as a large teepee with comfy indoor seating. Outdoor toys and games for kids. There's also a portaloo. Will be back to try the pizza!

For what it is and how it's evolved since opening, it's wonderful. Access is down a rather unassuming gravel type of road, about a 5 minute walk from Harlow Carr. It's very much dog friendly. The drinks and snacks are of a good quality. Service is friendly, and is usually fairly efficient. Prices are a little expensive. The giant teepee is excellent, spacious and well furnished. It's cosy in the colder months but can get quite hot and stuffy in warmer weather. There's a porta loo on the site. Not great but better than nothing.

Today was yet another visit to Bamber&Brown on Crag Lane, Harrogate. The best kept secret in Harrogate. Once again we enjoyed Bev's renowned carrot cake and some hot chocolate to go with it. Always the same very high quality on everything they serve to rival Betty's. A new addition to the site was some lovely new decking which will enhance the experience of the evenings of Prosecco and Pizza which I believe will be starting again very soon. If you're out and about near Crag Lane and you don't want to pay the entrance charge to enter Harlow Carr to visit the cafe there or even the new Harrogate Arms, I highly recommend Bamber&Brown. We have always had a warm welcome from Bev and Caroline and excellent food, not to be...

Has great potential!! gorgeous place to sit with friends in between a walk, in the tepee and might be able to host parties soon apparently as an events place! However ( I haven’t tried the food yet) please!! train your baristas properly! For somewhere that’s supposed to be a coffee and brunch place, that coffee was something else :((what we call railway station coffee! Once the coffee is sorted it could easily be a 5 star location. If you don’t like coffee though and you’re just looking for somewhere to sit on a dog walk with friends, it does have a really lovely aesthetic! We just happened to come just to...
