Bar Twenty Seven — Restaurant in England

I am a regular at Bar 27 and it is sad to see how it is now. Staff still trying the best but maybe they have been demoralised as well so not what it used to be like. When it's hard to know if open or not or serving food or not, is that not what social media is for. I asked the barman this pm when they were open next week was reply closed Mon Tues and Wed I said we'll maybe that should be put on Facebook etc so people knew, he said it was last minute I replied not that last minute cause its only Saturday pm. I think it needs to be clarified if you are a sports bar showing all sports with bar snacks that people can afford or a restaurant that is different. I wish bar 27 all the best and hope things can get better, it is hard in this industry at the mo I know too well I hope things...

Myself and a mate went for some food and drinks 19 January 2022 Nice setting, great for watching sport there’s no place better in macc, and good to watch the football out on the pitch The waitresses were attentive and the food arrived quickly To start- chicken wings and halloumi fries- wings were tastey and the blue cheese sauce was nice, halloumi fries were also good, a shame there wasn’t more but it is only a starter Mains- we both had burgers, the MFC burger is a double Pattie, and the patties were good quality and cooked well. We also had the pulled pork burger which was nice Overall I’d say really good food and drink, no major complaints, we benefited from the January 2-4-1...

Waited unbearably long for more than hour and i am still waiting, i understand there are more orders tonight as there is an event so more people coming to the bar but that should have been predicted and apparently there is just one chef in the kitchen cooking who couldn’t handle the volume. I m not sure how they usually handle business. Well ridiculously i have just been told that actually we need to wait 1.5hours or more. I would say if that is better communicated to customers before taking order i m sure we can then choose...
