Breakfast OK but their COVID policy seems a bit strange. The hotel does not make Up rooms, due to COVID restrictions, but for breakfast your expected to dig into a supermarket bag of bread, along with everybody else, to make your toast. The bacon and sausages could do with a bit more cooking aswell. 2nd day - perhaps the worst breakfast performance of any hotel I have ever stayed in. All tables full of dirty crockery, 2 pots of coffee with the colour of tea, no fresh crockery, no granola, cups dirty, no bacon, half used plates from guests who gave up lying with fresh food on the buffet and no service to be seen - god the list just goes on - stars reduced from 3 to 2. Photo of coffee and condition of buffet

Thought location was nice for a breakfast. True, looking over lake was lovely but a cold awful soggy black scrambled eggs fatty awful bacon and the rest of food similar was intolerable. Complained to reception and they did apologize but our time was already ruined. Won't be back and recommend you avoid. Think people already do as we were the only customers.

I have had a good experience here before but this wasn't another I am afraid. Virtually the whole menu was not available a kittle awkward when meeting 2 other business professionals for dinner and stating at the hotel which the room was absolutely a disgrace. Service was a young lady very inexperienced and out of her depth with no.product knowledge and clearly apprehensive advising nothing but bad news. It was dead so no atmosphere from guests or any logic to the empty food choices. I don't blame the young lady she was hung iut to be a face of a disaster which was utterly unfair and we let her know to relax and not worry nut it was an embarrassing experience and I will not repeat it. Sorry guys in 3 stays only one was positive. There are many changes to be invested such as human staff on check in and out. A visible uniformed member of staff in the public spaces at all times which their were Virtually none A toilet that flushes in the rooms Sink tap that doesn't run all the time A menu where at least 80% is I stock compared to our 1 starter 1 main and no desert. Confident and trained staff, empower them Price doesn't reflect the experience and...

Was disappointed with afternoon tea. We arrived there had no information about our booking. We ordered some chips to go with afternoon tea but was given to us way before the afternoon food came out. Sandwiches very plain, no cucumber, lettuce with fillings. Scones and cakes are NOT homemade as the description said they are... No strawberries or anything like that to make it look presentable which is a ashamed considering we had afternoon tea before and standard has dropped in my opinion. Also we had to be asked to move cos they needed the table for dinner which I think it's a little...
