Edit: went back again first week in September, staff were rude, eggs were undercooked, hardly any mushrooms, bacon had almost as much fat as meat after they refused to trim the fat like they did last time for us stating that they'd just give us a knife. Oh and we got there at 3.45 and were originally told they weren't sure if we could order an all day breakfast. Isn't all day actually all day then? They shut at 5pm and it's not like they were quiet either. So I'm splitting the scores between this trip, 1 star and last trip 5 star, seems it could be a case of hit and miss. But we definitely won't be going back, shame really.

Absolutely brilliant. Yes the weather helped but the staff were great and had a good laugh, the views were beautiful and the food is spectacular, honestly the best all day breakfast I've had in ages that didn't cost £20, (even then they were no better). Price of an all day breakfast is currently £5.99 for that you get: 2 slices of toast or fried bread, 2 sausages, 2 rashers of bacon, beans, tomato, mushrooms and a fried egg. That's a lot of food for not a lot of money compared to most places and it tasted really good. Cracking little extra, sausages for the dogs, 50p each and they come in their own little bag all cut up. Ok so there is a steep walk both to and from the beach from the cafe, as well as to and from the car park. Probably around 200 to 250 metres to the car park which is £1 an hour and maybe a bit further down to the beach. But if you're reasonably stable on your feet then it's not too much of a problem as you can just take your time. Would I go back? Yes, definitely and probably end up getting very fat on the breakfasts every day given the opportunity 😆. (Not after the last visit I won't). We visited in mid August and it wasn't too busy either at...

An awesome little refuge amongst the cliffs of Filey bay. If you're staying in Filey town, Hunmanby Gap, Haven Primrose valley, Haven Reighton or anywhere around the bay and surrounding area you must visit it.

Affordable price and delicious simple menu. Nought says Welcome to the Yorkshire coast like a Bacon butty and a Cup of Tea, especially after a long walk on the pristine beach.

If you have the time get the all day breakfast, I was stuffed after that. Gleaming bit of grub.

Bring the kids and the dog, it's outside seating offers a beautiful view of the beach. There are plenty of water bowls for the furry critters and the dog 😁. If it's typically British weather and you're reaching for the rain coat and brolley just take your selections back to the car (they do takeaway as well) or take it to the beach, just make sure to take your rubbish with you.

There's a carpark a short walk away, at the top of the cliff. If you struggle to walk and/or require disabled access just be careful if you're in scooter or wheel chair, otherwise rushing down the slope, you'll be doing an Evel Knievel into the sea 🏍️. The top deck of seating is ideal for wheel chair users and those who need the space.

So visit when you can and honestly...

Great place for breakfasts,  lovely views. One afternoon we got there at 16:14 with four staff having a natter in the back and one cleaning up and after watching us look at the menu waited until we wanted to order before they said they're only doing teacakes and tea now. Pretty sure if the five of them really wanted to one of them could've rustled us up some food, all day breakfast doesn't say until 4pm and nowhere on the menu does it say we only do two items after 4pm. As a hungry family who were looking forward to some tasty food, we were deeply disappointed and went for a pub tea instead. Clearly, they couldn't be bothered, shouldn't you be trying to accommodate every customer and be grateful for the custom. Anyway, no hard feelings as we went back the next day for breakfast and will probably visit again as the food can be quite nice and the outdoor seating can't be beat for views, maybe next time a sign at the top of the hill saying we're not serving the full menu now would be helpful as we paid for parking, walked down the steep hill only to have to walk back up...

What can i say about this place. Bloody amazing. While on a call out to an injured seal at the Gap ( with BDMLR as Marine Mammal Medics ) , this lovely lady sorted us a cuppa and cake out even though they were packing up. Lovely cuppa and home made Bakewell tart. Well place cafe to sit and enjoy a snack, cuppa, ice cream or whatever takes your fancy. The views are stunning too. Lots of seating outside so no worries with the current situation. Spaced out well with a lovely table arrangement too. Gorgeous flower baskets and ornaments compliment the already beautiful scenery. Staff are well manner, polite and couldnt help us enough. Well worth a visit . Prices are great. Good value and descent .... ok bloody yummy food . They have loads of stuff you can buy .. beach goods, balls, hoops bucket and spades etc all good value. We can't wait to be back again. Hopefully not with a seal call out though. X
