This used to be a great place to eat when it was a restaurant - now the kitchen staff are miserable, the service is non-existent and the prices are outrageous for very basic easily produced food presented in a cardboard box and everything else is single use plastic that goes straight in the bin. I know the owners don’t care, they just want to make as much money as they can by reducing costs and increasing prices, but they should be completely ashamed of themselves for abusing a location like this with the appalling package they deliver to customers.

But the main reason I wanted to write a review is that my son was violently ill for nearly a week following what we were told were the last of the prawns available for his prawn taco. Although food poisoning is almost impossible to prove, the four of us had eaten identically for the previous 24 hours apart from his prawn tacos. For the first 48 hours he wasn’t able to keep water down and were told to go to A&E at 4.00am on the second morning because of his fever and erratic pulse, he didn’t eat anything for 4 days and couldn’t make it downstairs until day 5 completely ruining the first week of his holidays. I’d rather eat sand and drink seawater than ever return...

Utter mess of a mismanaged establishment in such an idyllic location. Everywhere you could see was covered in rubbish, floors, tables and even the seating had old cups and food containers strewn over with rubbish over flowing onto the beach. Serious amount of bird mess. No control of the swarms of clientele and no staff to be seen for any sort of assistance. Lots of people on the bar but none of them doing anything about the growing queue as their conversations are obviously more important. Aggressively rude lady making pizzas and then having to wait 45 minutes for an under-cooked margherita covered in burnt flour. Chicken flatbread and fries below average for the high price and came 30 minutes before the pizza when we wanted to eat together, but the chef was short and told us there's nothing he could do about it now it was ready and walked off. Cutlery, condiments and napkins nowhere to be found despite being sent pillar to post being told where they should be just to discover everything empty which seemed to be an issue for dozens of other diners. Awful experience and management need to wake up...

The middle aged blonde woman wearing glasses working at The Beach Grill was incredibly rude and disrespectful to me. I arrived and went straight over there to look at the menu for lunch. I took no longer than a minute and a half to figure out what I was going to eat before she muttered ‘Jesus Christ’ when there was no queue behind me and it wasn’t busy and when I asked why she said that she said she’s closing soon. When placing the order she was also very rude and not at all helpful when answering questions I had about the meal. 15 minutes later after eating our food the stall is still open so I have no idea why she was so disrespectful when all I was doing was working out what I wanted to eat during a 1 and a half minute period. She made me feel very uncomfortable when placing my order and has really put a downer on my day. I’m not one to ever give bad reviews when a server makes a mistake or anything of that nature, however I felt compelled to this time as she was very unprofessional and made the entire experience at The Beach House unenjoyable and...

#beachhouse just had a visit to this wonderful place on the beach. Love love loved the scallop and prawn tacos. As well as the friendly staff making it soya free for my sister! Aspen chips to die for!! Best prawns and scallops I’ve EVER eaten. Worthy the trip out!! You won’t be sorry!! The table next door had pizza and that too looked amazing and as there was nothing left, I take it, it was an absolute hit as well!! Friendliest staff 10/10

Thursday 6th June 2024, Bought an Americano, Latte, a maple and pecan slice, 2 sausage Rolls, total cost approx £17.50 (food was £10.50) Sausage rolls were hard/well overcooked, had to ask for a refund, was offered an alternative however they looked similar, coffees were OK, that's all I would recommend really, a pit stop for a hot drink and a nice view, Dog friendly, so was a bit noisy as they were barking so not so peaceful

A decent spot for the beach. There’s a good variety of food and drinks to choose from, but the food court format makes the quality a bit unpredictable. The two dishes we tried were fine, but not something I’d order again. The staff were polite and friendly, which added a nice touch. It was very crowded and noisy, though, which made the atmosphere less relaxing. Dog friendly.
