Quaint little pub with very nice and very attentive staff. But all downhill after that.. We were a company of 6 for Sunday lunch. When I our order came, we first noticed that there was virtually no difference between small and regular size, even though the latter cost more. Read moreWe were passing after a weekend away, and needed Sunday lunch, so dropped in without a booking. We couldn't have been made more welcome, a table in front of the fire, and two Sunday lunches appeared in no time at all. A full plate of really nice food, very tasty chicken, plus extra gravy. Highly recommended - make a special trip to try this place, you won't be disappointed. Thanks you so much for an...

The staff were very friendly & the food was lovely. It reminded me of proper home cooked dinners from family meals gone by. What a great find! We look forward to coming back to sample more from the menu. Todays Sunday Roast followed by rhubarb crumble & custard just hit the...
