Cold welcome!!.. Having visited the Bollywood Cottage for the first time on Thursday 3rd April 2025 we were abruptly asked if we'd booked, we hadn't, it was 7.00pm the restaurant was occupied by around four seperate tables.. We were told that a table wasn't available until 8.30pm.. We went elsewhere for drinks but having pondered over the cold shoulder welcome from the host at the Bollywood Cottage we decided against it. Read moreHad a weekend away in Elslack and decided to have an Indian takeaway. I chose Bollywood cottage due to the reviews on Google. At no point were we rushed. Staff accommodating, food excellent, but it was as expected it to be - lovely food, polite staff and the restaurant was lovely. When next in the area, we will book beforehand, but until then we will continue to eat good food at the No3 Curry House at Milnthorpe. Thank you very much and anyone reading this review please call in to Bollywood Cottage, it is 100% worth a visit and does not...
