Hit Brambles Café, where the vibe don’t fail. Chapel Stile chillin’, steam on my brew, Locals nod heads, yeah, they know what to do.

Scones so fly, jam drippin’ like gold, Clotted cream stacked like stories I told. Latte smooth like my rhymes in a cipher, Soup got that heat—call it tastebud igniter.

Wood grain tables, real rustic feel, Staff got that smile that keepin’ it real. Cakes on the counter, lookin’ like a dream, Sticky toffee vibes, if you know what I mean.

Rain outside? Nah, we just stay posted, Pastries in hand, feelin' fully toasted. Brambles the name, Langdales the block, One bite deep and your taste buds knock.

So next time you hike and the clouds start to stack, Slide through Brambles, put your hunger on the rack. It’s more than a café—it’s that laid-back scene, Where the tea's always hot and the slate always...

Went to join a group of friends who had ordered and were eating bacon and egg baps. As I am vegetarian I tried to order egg on toast only for my request to be denied from a server with the social and serving skills of what can only be described as that of a beetle. With no food option available to me I was happy to just sit with my friends and wait for them to finish their meal but instead was yelled at from across the other side of the cafe with the words "If you're not buying anything you have to leave."

Would strongly suggest making the walk to Chester's By The River, the café down the road for a friendly service and excellent quality...

Very nice cafe, cosy with lots of natural light. Friendly staff. I didn't think the hot chocolate was very good, but that's partly because I didn't stir it and there turned out to be a big clump of chocolate powder at the bottom of the cup.. Really liked the chocolate cornflake cake, and their other cakes looked good, too. They also offer toasties, baps, English breakfast, salad and soup. If you're staying at Elterwater Hostel, I recommend coming here for breakfast.
