Read the reviews and thought this would be a lovely little place to stop for a cuppa. Admittedly we arrived at a quarter to four with the cafe closing at four. When we asked for a cup of tea, the reply from the lady behind the counter was, 'That's about all I can do'. We asked whether she had soya milk and she said, 'Yes', looked in the fridge and then said, 'Oh...no'. so I asked for a black coffee instead, to which she replied, 'Oh, you want coffee now do you?' When she brought the tray to out the table, she put it down, turned away, said 'Enjoy' with her back turned and hurriedly scuttled over to turn over the blackboard and white sign to say closed. By now it was ten to four. We did not feel welcome, we were clearly an inconvenience and in her way....
