Carrie’s Bar — Restaurant in England

Poor for a 4 Star hotel. Main issue this Bar/ Dining area in this lovely Hotel we have used frequently but in the past. Does not allow customers to operate a table tab. Consequently we (4) had to get up and order our drinks and food separately. Each time we wanted a drink and as our Starters were on seperate order they came out at different times. Not much but it shouldn't happen at all. When I asked the Bar Manager why they didn't allow tabs, he couldn't really tell me, so I asked if it was because we might run away without paying, he actually said yes. The Food. My wife is convinced her Scampi was not real but a mashed fish concoction. The rest was OK but certainly had better in local pubs and paid a lot less.
